Authorized and Official "Good Guys"

Force-E is an Authorized Dealer for all the products we sell. We're among the "Good Guys".

This means that every new item you purchase from us comes with a full manufacturers warranty as well as our Satisfaction Guarantee.

Many online dealers of SCUBA equipment are not authorized to sell by the manufacturers they claim to represent. Buying from such dealers will end up costing you in the long run as the equipment you purchase will NOT be warranted by the manufacturer. Regardless of what the dealer may claim on their website or over the phone.

Tips to ensure you are satisfied with your scuba gear purchase.

1. Don't assume that buying from the lowest price vendor will give you the best overall value. Some of the biggest online sellers have actually been caught selling counterfeit brand name products.
These "Bad Guys" are part of the "Grey Market". Most quality manufactures have a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) clause in their dealer contracts. Authorized dealers will not sell below MAP because it jeopardizes their dealership and voids the factory warranty.

2. The "Bad Guys" can't offer a manufacturer's warranty because they don't buy from the manufacturer: Regardless of what they say.
You would be technically buying second hand products. Most "Bad Guys" don't have product liability insurance. What happens if the equipment fails? Your only answer may lie on another continent.

3. The best manufacturers of scuba regulators offer free parts as part of their extended or lifetime warranty. All authorized dealers in the network honor this warranty. The "Bad Guys" will tell you they offer the same warranty. The "small print" is they require you to send it back and then charge you about 60% too much for the labor. Don't forget the shipping charges and kiss your equipment goodbye for at least six weeks. They'll tell you different but remember; these are the "Bad Guys".

Would you buy a PC or Mac without a factory warranty? Then why would you buy a dive computer without one? You depend on a dive computer to keep you healthy and alive so you can spend more money on PCs and Macs. At 99 feet (30 meters), do you want to depend on "The Good Guys" or "The Bad Guys"?

4. Be sure. Google the manufacturer and go to their dealer list. If the Guy is there, he's "Good" if not, well you know what he is.

5. Force-E has been in the business for over 30 years. Our instructors have certified enough divers to fill a sports stadium. Our founder started diving in 1958 and became an instructor in '61.
